We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our expanding team.
We are looking for an expert who understands both business processes and technical implementation, acting as a bridge between business needs and IT development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the creation of report and dashboard specifications from the business side and, where applicable, prepare them independently.
- Guide stakeholders through the end-to-end reporting lifecycle, including:
- Clarifying business objectives and key questions,
- Defining KPIs and metrics,
- Selecting appropriate reporting or dashboard solutions,
- Delivering interim outputs such as mockups, specifications, or prototypes.
- Communicate effectively with clients throughout the reporting and dashboard development process, ensuring transparency and alignment at each phase.
- Experience in effort estimation, proposal preparation, and timeline planning is considered an advantage.
- Collaborate closely with developers and data engineers during implementation, testing, and refinement.
- Analyze data using SQL to validate business logic, ensure data accuracy, and support decision-making.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in business analysis with a strong focus on reporting and analytics-related tasks.
- Proven experience working with large enterprise clients (mandatory).
- Solid SQL knowledge sufficient to analyze datasets, validate data, and support reporting requirements.
- Experience in defining and supporting KPI frameworks, including KPI and report definitions.
- Cloud or data platform knowledge (e.g. Databricks or similar) is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.
- Ability to coordinate a small team (a few team members) is considered a plus.
- Close collaboration experience with development teams to ensure correct implementation of analytical and reporting solutions.
- Proficient English and Hungarian is mandatory.
