Video-Based HR Support for a Distributed Workforce
Client
MVM Group is a key player in the Hungarian energy sector, employing a large and geographically distributed workforce, including a significant number of field and blue-collar employees.
Challenge
MVM needed a way to provide consistent and secure HR support to employees across different locations. A large portion of their workforce does not work in an office environment and does not have access to company devices or systems.
Previously, employees often had to travel to central offices to resolve HR-related matters, which was time-consuming and inefficient. At the same time, the company needed to ensure proper identification and data security in all interactions.
Solution
Abylon implemented a video-based HR support system built on the VideoCC platform.
The solution enables employees to connect with HR through a secure video channel using any internet-connected device with a camera, including personal smartphones or computers. This makes the service accessible even to employees without company-issued devices.
The platform includes built-in two-factor authentication combined with visual identification through video, ensuring secure and compliant communication.
Incoming video calls are handled similarly to a traditional call center: requests are received centrally and automatically routed to available HR staff. This ensures efficient handling and reduces waiting times.
Thanks to the modular and web-based architecture of VideoCC, the solution was implemented quickly and tailored to the specific requirements of the client.
