Responsibilities
As a BI Developer, you’ll play a vital role in our client’s team. Your main tasks will include resolving day-to-day challenges while also improving business processes through automation and scripting.
You’ll work closely with clients to modernize their platforms and support their transition to cloud technologies.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining the on-premise Microsoft tech stack, running proof of concepts to explore cloud options, and implementing modern CI/CD practices. Throughout it all, you’ll keep a customer-first mindset, ensuring that their needs are always at the forefront of your work!
What will you do:
- Provide day-to-day support: Assist clients with their BI environment and tools, ensuring efficient operations.
- Manage month-end processes: Coordinate and oversee the successful completion of month-end activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues: Proactively identify and resolve problems to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Optimize performance: Understand data flow and implement strategies to improve performance and reduce costs.
- Adapt to changing needs: Stay updated on client requirements and make necessary adjustments to the BI environment.
- Identify automation opportunities: Continuously seek ways to automate tasks and streamline processes.
- Contribute to modernization: Participate in initiatives to modernize the BI platform and facilitate the transition to cloud technologies.
You are the perfect candidate if you have…
- 3+ years of experience in data warehousing and ETL tools, including design and implementation
- Strong SQL programming skills, particularly in reading and creating stored procedures
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft BI tools (Power BI, SSIS, SSAS) is a huge plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure-based DWH solutions
- Experience in an agile environment
- A solid understanding of data modeling and data governance.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and client-oriented approach
- A collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- At least intermediate level of English language proficiency
